Spring is getting here. The equinox has passed and yet, the ground is still frozen here in Wisconsin. Even so, I can just taste the fresh asparagus, the garlic scapes, the pea shoots, the radishes, the rainbow-colored carrots.. oh yes, I can taste them all.
Sometimes I am so astounded by how many talented cooks, writers and photographers there are out there on the Internet. The women who created these recipes in some ways make me devilishly jealous and in other ways humble me and in other ways, they excite and inspire me so much. And okay, I threw one of my own in there. The idea that there are so many fiercely creative people in the world and that more and more people are striving for that is seriously cool.
